If you are looking to keep rabbits either as pets or for breeding, one of the best places to start is to touch base with your local rabbit breeder. There are lots of things to consider when thinking about keeping or breeding rabbits and your local breeder is often the best person to answer all your questions.
Any breeder who is anywhere in Australia (or website links from New Zealand or the rest of the world for that matter) and wants their details recorded in this website is free to do so without any strings attached, be they friend, stranger or not so liked. I am not afraid of competition with my show bunnies. They can win on their own merits.
In the navigation to the left, you will find listings of the rabbit studs in each state and their contact details. Naturally, each rabbit breeder may keep a different variety of rabbits (there are literally dozens of types) so you may want to contact someone who specialises in a particular breed. For more information relating to rabbit breeds and their particular traits, colours and temperament, you can always send me an

Hi fellow breeders in New South Wales and visitors. As some parts of the database were getting too cumbersome I have revamped the NSW breeders listings. Now all you have to do is click any letter of the alphabet to view all the stud listings beginning with that letter. Please give me your feedback on this new method of accessing the NSW breeders directory and please be sure to contact me if any of your details need changing, or if you find your name missing and I will rectify this as quickly as possible. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
