Mini Lop Birth pics
|
I thought that it was time to make a new article on the birth of a mini lop, but instead of just showing the baby from 1 to 8 weeks I would follow it up until adulthood. I managed to be there when Ebony gave birth so I took this pic. I was very pleased when she gave me a little Blue baby along with her usual REW baby. These babies were born on Australia Day (January 26th 2009) which makes them a celebration in itself, so here goes the first brand new out of Ebony's tummy.![]() I managed to get another shot at one week old, see below ![]() Unfortunately I mucked up the dates and the pic below is the two week old pic ![]() Below is their three week old pic below. The little REW is now fully lopped and I can now say that it is a boy and that the little Blue is a girl, yay and she has one ear lopped and the second is still to go down ![]() the babies have grown a lot more active now and their ears are fully lopped. the REW is a little boy and the little Blue Self is a girl. See their pic for 4 weeks of age below ![]() Now the babies are 5 weeks old and you can see how different the boys and girls are in their development stages. The boys at this age seem to gain size and weight faster, leaving the girls behind. As you can see from the pic the little REW (stands for Red Eyed White) is nearly a third bigger than his sister at this stage. See their pic below ![]() now another week older ![]() Today is the 6th of May 2009 and little Furne and Freddy (granddaughter named Freddy) are now 14 weeks old. As you can see from the picture below, there is very little difference in them from around eight weeks of age. ![]() Now that Freddy and Furne have now reached 19 weeks (11th June 2009) they haven't got any more growing to do except fill out as they grow older. In another week they will be considered adults on the show bench and will go up against all other adults in their class. At this stage you will notice that there is very little difference in their appearance since they were 14 weeks old. ![]() |
